For me, women’s rights used to be like chatter in a coffee shop: I was aware of it, but it never concerned me. I’ve lived a privileged life so far. But it wasn’t until recently, when I was introduced to this issue in a new light, that I finally woke up. At 25, I learned that this movement is about more than whether I felt affected. It’s about everyone. And equality.
In order to wake others up, and to keep myself learning, I started this blog. And like Princess Mia in The Princess Diaries, I hope that my thoughts and the thoughts of people smarter than me can be heard and turned into actions.
I started this site as a way to vent my frustrations with the way the world is going these days. Thank you to the women who have inspired me, and who have encouraged me to let my voice be heard.
